Common questions

How do I apply myself?

Open the JobWorks app (sign in with your mobile or email and a PIN), choose the service, fill in the form, add photos of your documents and pay online. You see the price before you pay.

Why must the form be in English?

The government portals take answers in English only. The screens are in मराठी, हिंदी or English, but type every answer in English.

How do I see the status?

In the JobWorks app under Applications, or with Track my application (application number and mobile). If you applied through an agency, they also send you a tracking link on WhatsApp.

JobWorks needs an OTP from me. What do I do?

Open the app: it shows "JobWorks needs something from you". Type the OTP there. Never give an OTP on a call, SMS or WhatsApp, even to someone who says they are from JobWorks.

Where do I get my document?

When it is ready, it is in My documents in the app. Some documents, such as a passport or PAN card, also come to you by post from the government.

What if my application is rejected?

We tell you why and what to correct. When money is to be returned, the refund rules on our Refunds page apply.

I am applying for my child. Is that allowed?

Yes. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian applies and gives consent in the app.

Can I see or delete my data?

Yes. Ask in the app (Help, then Talk to us) or by email. We send you a copy, or delete it once the law no longer requires us to keep it.

Stay safe

OTPs only in the app

JobWorks never asks for an OTP, PIN or password on a call, SMS or WhatsApp. If someone does, do not share it. Tell us.

Check an agency

Every JobWorks agency has a certificate with a QR code. Scan it with your phone camera: our page shows whether the agency is active today.

Pay only JobWorks or your agency

In the app you pay JobWorks online and get a receipt. Never pay a JobWorks expert directly.

Talk to us

Signed in to the app? Use Help, then Talk to us: your agency or JobWorks answers there, and you get a notification.
